Joshua Rice founded his studio after formative experience working with the design-intensive firm Bodron+Fruit directly out of college, where he developed a strong foundation in modern residential architecture and the role interiors play in furthering architectural intent through the inclusion of warmth, material, proportion, and custom detail.

He holds an interior design degree from Texas Christian University and is a registered interior designer in the state of Texas.

Since establishing the studio, his work has centered on architecturally significant residences, ground-up construction, and substantial renovations where bespoke design elements and carefully curated objects play a defining role.

The studio’s work has been featured across regional and international publications highlighting its integration of architecture, material, and collectible design. Projects often emphasize custom elements, rare furnishings, and interiors shaped through collaboration with architects and artisans.
