Waller is a multi-year, full-scale renovation and interiors project in which no room was left untouched. Joshua Rice Design approached the house as a complete architectural composition, recalibrating proportion, material continuity, and spatial clarity across the entire residence.
The interiors are defined by precision and restraint. A tonal palette of stone, plaster, and light wood establishes a quiet architectural backdrop, with custom millwork and honed surfaces carrying the language from room to room. Within that setting, rare vintage works, contemporary pieces, sculptural lighting, and bespoke furnishings were introduced with control, giving the home depth and character without visual excess.
The project reflects the studio’s interest in total design, where architecture, interiors, and objects are developed together and held to the same standard of discipline. Every decision contributes to continuity, editing, and formal clarity. The result is a residence that feels fully resolved, calm in its overall effect, and deeply considered in its details.
